Having moved to larger premises, we are delighted to be able to offer training in our new dedicated room. Sometimes it is impossible to concentrate with the distractions of your own environment. Our offices are within easy reach of Reading Railway station or 5 mins south of the M4 with ample parking. We will feed you at lunchtime and offer lots of coffee breaks!

StudioPlus Training

StudioPlus is the only all-in-one software system that combines total digital workflow with a complete set of business management tools. Developed in conjunction with photographers, StudioPlus uniquely addresses the business of running a professional photography studio - from scheduling, marketing, order tracking, invoicing, and maintaining your client database, to capturing, sales presentations, composite templates, output, and archiving.

Over the last seven years, Dtek Systems have been installing StudioPlus throughout the UK and offer training, support and consultancy. Whether you are a single user or have a chain of studios, Dtek can show you what a scalable and flexible product StudioPlus is. Dtek can also help you with all your hardware requirements to get the best out of StudioPlus.

Pre-configuration of the StudioPlus Template

After an initial consultation, we can pre-configure your StudioPlus package to include business requirements such as price list, product lines and sample standard letters. This will aid training as the users will see familiar items and will be able to absorb the information quicker.

Product templates can be created for the studio to present composite images to the client. This can dramatically improve sales. DTEK have a range of existing templates including the most popular of the Ultimat Mount range, or we can customise to suit your requirements.

We suggest a minimum of two days on-site training for the StudioPlus. Additional training can be undertaken when the users want to progress, and have questions they wish to ask.

Why don’t you get together with another studio and take a booster day?

Share the cost and find out how other studios have customised their systems to get the best out of Portrait One. Many studios do not add prospects to manager. You can programme future calls and create mail mergers and get those clients through your door!

Other Courses

C1 Pro and Capture

If you have come from a traditional film based environment, DTEK can help you with your transition to the digital workflow.

We will teach you how to organise your shoot, whether you use a PC or Macintosh.
We will help you set up your monitor (with an optional ColorVision Spyder and calibration software) so that you feel confident in your edits.

Areas covered - white balance (grey), exposure, tonal and colour adjustments, focus testing, cropping and development to preferred file format.

OSX training

Introduction to OSX

Designed for those new to OSX and may be from a PC or pre OSX environment. Familiarisation with the interface, the ‘Dock’, System Preferences, setting up networking, printing, etc. Installing applications, hints and tricks to help you quickly adapt.

Administrating OSX

More in depth look at OSX. Loading the Operating System, setting up user accounts, networking, connectivity, where the ‘stuff’ gets stored. Basic troubleshooting.

Applied training

Where a combination of programmes are involved in your workflow.

Call us to discuss your requirements. Sometimes all that is required is a helping hand to give advice on whether you should be looking at Indesign instead of Quark.
